  • I’ve never used a staffing agency. How does it work?

  • Do I have to pay for this service?
    No, we never charge job seekers for our staffing services. Search our job listings or upload your resume.
  • How do I submit my resume?
    Simply fill out the Resume form, and attach your CV file.
  • I’ve submitted my resume. What happens next?
    A PHS team member will contact you if your skills and experience meet the requirements of an open position. We receive new job requests every day, so continue to check back frequently and apply to those that match your background, credentials and interests.
  • Do I have to take a skills assessment?
    Yes. ProHealth Staffing conducts proficiency testing in medical skills required for all positions.
  • Does the agency deduct any money from my paycheck?
    No. There is no cost to employees using ProHealth Staffing. Normal tax deductions apply to each paycheck but there are no agency fees for employees.
  • How long before I am eligible for benefits?
    Employees are eligible for benefits after 90 (8 hour) working days with PHS, no matter what client or company you are working for.
  • If a job placement ends, will you help me find another job?"
    Yes! If the previous job placement ends on a good note and you have not violated any PHS terms and conditions, we will work our hardest to place previously placed talent in a new role as soon as possible.
  • What is the payroll process?
    Employees are required to submit their hours electronically or manually (PHS Timesheet) at the end of each shift. Each employee will be paid by direct deposit or mailed a live check at the end of each week. Direct deposit funds are usually available within 24-48 hours from when the payroll is issued. Please allow five business days for postal delivery of a mailed check. During your first week of work, your paycheck will roll over to the following friday. After your first week of work, you will be paid on a weekly basis.
  • Do you hire candidates for remote work?
    At this time, we do not work with clients who are offering remote positions. If an available positionbecomes remote, this will be listed in the specific job(s) description.
  • Do I have to pay for this service?
    No. There is no cost to employees working with PHS.
